Erard double action pedal Harp number 3347 was sold originally to John Hamilton Esquire in 1823. It was restored by Haarnack & Son, London 1911, (label on base of pedal box) the soundboard was replaced by Munson & Harbour in 1973 (pencil inscription inside front).

It’s currently in the workshop where the mechanics will be cleaned, reassembled, re oiled and regulated. There was a little worm damage on the pedal box and body, all of which has been repaired. The decoration and mouldings on the pedal box have been replaced and the front refinished and decorated.

It will be strung to concert pitch with all new Bow Brand low tension gut strings and silver wire wound on silk for the bass strings.
